Being part of a Handbell Choir is a way to hone your musicianship skills in a fun setting. You can learn the basic elements of musicianship, and you can learn to work in an ensemble with people of all ages.

CMC Handbell Choir meets on Tuesdays from 3:45pm to 4:15pm. Tentative fall 2026 course is ten weeks and runs from September 15 through November 17th. Cost is $25 for children in grades 4-8 and $10 for 9th graders through adults. The course is led by Mrs. Katie Drefs.

The goal of the CMC Handbell Choir course is to help train people from all over the region to be inspired and equipped to join or start handbell choirs in their own church congregations and communities.

Come and try out a session and see if you’d like to commit to a course in the basics, or move on to more challenging opportunities.
